Pastor Welke came to St. Peter Lutheran Church in October of 2024 after serving congregations in Winona, MN, and Austin, MN. He is a non-traditional pastor having served in the military and then working as an electronics technician before studying for the public ministry. He is a graduate of Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN and Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon, WI. He enjoys serving the people of St. Peter with God's Word and would be happy to share God's Word with you too.
